Schedr was imagined in December 2006 by
Tom Petr when he was frustrated at how kludgy the course registration system was at his university.
After a number of rewrites and redesigns, Schedr entered beta stage in the Fall of 2007.
During the Summer of 2008, the Schedr backend was translated from Perl to Python (with the
Django framework).
Tom is currently a
Computer Systems Engineering student at
UMass Amherst.
